Pair of fish-hook earrings dating back to the Sicily of 1800s, fashioned in 14 karat gold. The jewel is composed of a flower of pearls that holds an egg-shaped element covered with other little natural pearls. This kind of jewels were highly used as a symbol of fertility by nannies - called Nurizza in Sicilian. This pair of antique earrings shows the skillful craftmanship of Sicilian goldsmiths of the 19th century.
