Dario Galimberti (1881-1966, Chioggia) was a self-taught artist. From an artistic point of view, he is the son of the great Venetian masters of the 1800s, such as Favaretto, Ciardi, Fragiacomo, and especially Milesi. Great connoisseur and promoter of his city, he represented exemplarily many evocative corners. His works are made with colors and patterns carefully chosen. On the of the painting, there is an inscription: "Canal Vena - Dario Galimberti - Chioggia 1937 - XV", where XV refers to the fascist year.
