Oil on canvas painted by Lorenzo Delleani in 1887. He was an important artist, who explored impressionism and the art of De Nittis by travelling to Paris. He exhibited his works of art at the salon of Paris and at Venice International Expositions. The influence of impressionism appears from the swift brushstroke, the dense colours, and the practice of painting landscapes surrounded by nature. The works of art that Delleani produced between 1883 and 1889 are the most appreciated by collectors, and the painting at issue is dated 1887, the year of maximum artistic expression. The artist focused in particular on the landscapes of Piedmont mountains, but here the subject is the Giudecca Canal of Venice, where Delleani studied and exhibited his works. His paintings are of small size, and he usually sign them on the bottom right, as in this case. Most of his works are in the most important museums of Turin.

Bellissimo il secondo filmato dedicato a "Scrivere le icone“ come quello incentrato sui diamanti di qualche settimana fa.
