Bourbon earrings in red gold and coral - Southern Italy, XIX century
Authentic Bourbon earrings fashioned in 14k red gold in the mid-nineteenth century in the South of Italy. With a needle-hook attachment, with a fixed applied element decorated with curly filigree and a sphere of natural Sicilian coral. From the latter hangs an oscillating element that represents a bell, also decorated with filigree motifs and with flowers, light leaves and natural coral spheres applied above. At the end there is a single fringe with two coral spheres, equally oscillating. The jewel is in perfect condition of conservation.

Ho fatto pulire e controllare i miei gioielli, quando li ho rivisti ho fatto un salto indietro nel tempo di molti anni, oggi rivedo finalmente questi monili di nuovo brillanti e luminosi come quando mia madre li acquistò da giovane per indossarli e viverli in ogni buona occasione.
