18 karat yellow gold pendant - brooch with sterling and enamel - Italy 1950s

Original brooch - pendant made of 18-karat yellow gold with a gold coin in the centre, an English pound from 1915 representing the profile of King George V, while on the reverse is St. George fighting on horseback against the dragon. The coin is inserted into a frame formed by a double row of leaves, the first all covered in blue enamel, while the others are in satin gold. Well crafted jewel in excellent conditions.
