Equestrian monument by Verrocchio - Bartolomeo Colleoni - A. Pandiani Milan
Antonio Pandiani was born in Milan in 1838 in a family of industrial smelters. His works are often miniatures of the historical monuments of Italy. This sculpture represents the noble leader from Bergamo, Bartolomeo Colleoni, exactly like Verrocchio represented him in the Equestrian Monument in the late 1400s. The real monument is 395 cm high, and it is located in San Zanipolo Campo in Venice. The object is signed on the base, and it has been well preserved, it only lacks the sword.
