This oil painting on canvas dates back to the 15th century, and depicts a Deposition of Christ. Itwas probably realized by an artist of one of the northern-Italy art schools. Of particular beauty are the faces full of dramatic emotions, and the light games on the clothes, both elements that make this work dynamic. Other refined elements are the landscape, that is the background of this scene, the touches of white on the facbrics, and the figure of the Christ, who is letting himself going. This work of art comes together with an amazing ancient frame, and overall it measures 120 cm in heigh and 107 cm in width.
