Peculiar Russian icon from the XIX century depicting three Orthodox saints. In the centre there is Aleksandr Nevskij, a Russian warrior prince who became saint because of his action in defense of Russia and his strong faith. On the left there is St. Joseph the Hymnographer, and on the right St. Tatiana. Above the three saints the Holy Father hovers from the iconic cloud. The contrast between the soft colours of the characters and the golden background makes the figures emerge from the table. This icon is peculiar for the unusual group of saints and the dynamic frame alternating vibrant colours and gold.

Con Passione Antiqua ho scoperto il mondo dei gioielli che hanno una loro storia, che appartengono a un'epoca, che hanno un'anima e un valore che va ben oltre la quotazione. Questi preziosi vanno portati "con disinvoltura", come insegna Simone, ma anche con gioia, con il rispetto che si deve alle cose belle e senza tempo, con gratitudine di indossare un'emozione, non solo un ornamento.

Ho acquistato on line alcuni gioielli, uno più bello dell'altro. Spedizione velocissima, bella confezione che includeva anche un gradito regalo, i gioielli sono più belli dal vivo che in foto. Lo Staff di Passione Antiqua veramente gentile, un piacere aver acquistato da loro.
