In this painting Luigi Pagan depicts Calle Boegani, one of the streets of Chioggia, the artist's hometown. As usual during the 70s the quick brushstrokes look highly material and semi-abstract. Both the characters and the light on the street are vivid, and make the painting poetic and vibrant at the same time.
