Mantel clock with pair of candle holders - E.W. Streeter - 19th century

Beautiful fireplace triptych made up of a clock (cm 35x25x12) and a pair of three-flame candelabra (cm 38x22x7), made of gilded mercury bronze embellished by porcelain decorated with polychrome enamels. It is a French production in the Napoleon III style commissioned by Edwin William Streeter, a well-known London jeweler, for his shop at 37 Conduit Street, which was later transferred to New Bond Street. The watch chimes every hour and half hour and is still in good working order.
