Oil on canvas painting depicting a male half-bust on a dark background, as typical of the period in which it was made, the first half of the 17th century. The subject has his torso and face turned slightly to the right, but his gaze is turned toward the viewer. On the dark clothing and background stands out the rosy complexion, further emphasized by the white collar. The work is accompanied by a simple gilded frame, certainly of recent manufacture, and is in excellent condition.
