Porcelain plates with Miniatures - Wien late 1800s
Set of 12 porcelain plates made in Wien during the late 19th century. The round blue frame is decorated with gold floral motives and flying putti. In the middle there are refined miniatures depicting mainly female figures, painted with enamels of soft colours. These women - simbolyzing for example the seasons - are surrounded by old architectures, trees and flowers, and are different from each other, which makes the set unique and particular. The pieces are signed "Enitszche" and have been well preserved.
