Ancient Russian icon still in excellent condition, dating back to the mid-19th century. The panel depicts "Our Lady of Kazan", the most revered in the history of Russia: according to tradition, the "Lady of the hearth" is the first icon that newlyweds bring into their new home. Our Lady is depicted with a red cloak while moving her towards baby Jesus, who does the sign of the cross with His right hand. On the left part of the icon are Saint Laurentino and Saint Urim, and on the right one Saint Irina, three martyrs in prayer.

Ho fatto pulire e controllare i miei gioielli, quando li ho rivisti ho fatto un salto indietro nel tempo di molti anni, oggi rivedo finalmente questi monili di nuovo brillanti e luminosi come quando mia madre li acquistò da giovane per indossarli e viverli in ogni buona occasione.
