Tempera painting on wood signed below Paolo Sala (1859-1924), a Lombard painter well known above all for his landscapes. This work represents a parade whose participants in the foreground are equipped with banners, while in the background a row of white horses can be seen. It all takes place in a white space that contrasts with the color of people's clothes. The panel, of modest size (cm 24x34), is in good conditions.
