Bronze statue titled "Pescatorello" (Young fisherman) - an icon of Napolitan scupltures - signed by Giovanni Varlese (1888-1922, Naples). This artist belongs to the famous school of Neapolitan sculptors who became highly popular for their great skills and creativity between 1800s and 1900s. The guide master was Vincenzo Gemito (1852-1929): he became an artist of international fame, his portrait of Verdi is very famous.
