Mother of God, surety of sinners. Iconographic representation dates back to the first decade of the 19th century. The Virgin Mary shows her benevolence by giving aid to the sinners who seem to be beyond redemption. Venerated on February 5th, she is prayed by the young women who ask for a good husband, and by mothers for the protection of their children. The painting depicts the Mother while embracing baby Jesus, who warmly surrounds the neck of His mother with His little hands. On the frame, there are Saint Matrona and the Guardian Angel.

Ho fatto pulire e controllare i miei gioielli, quando li ho rivisti ho fatto un salto indietro nel tempo di molti anni, oggi rivedo finalmente questi monili di nuovo brillanti e luminosi come quando mia madre li acquistò da giovane per indossarli e viverli in ogni buona occasione.
