Beautiful Russian icon of the 19th century depicting the Annunciation, executed in tempera on wood. The scene represents the Archangel Gabriel and the young Virgin Mary while, at the top, the blessing Father. Very beautiful colors have been used: saturated, but not too bright; the details of the architectures are also very well cared for. The panel (40X35 cm) is well preserved.
