Russian icon representing the Mother of God of Vladimir with a beautiful silver riza that partly covers Her and forms the nimbus of both Mary and the Child. It belongs to the iconographic model called "Eluisa" (tenderness) because it represents the particular gentleness with which Mother and Son embrace each other through the delicate contact of the cheeks, a profound sign of unity and closeness. The panel (33x25,5 cm) comes from Central Russia and is in good condition.

Ho fatto pulire e controllare i miei gioielli, quando li ho rivisti ho fatto un salto indietro nel tempo di molti anni, oggi rivedo finalmente questi monili di nuovo brillanti e luminosi come quando mia madre li acquistò da giovane per indossarli e viverli in ogni buona occasione.
